Fried vegetable

This is fried vegetable with boil meat. 

With boiled fish, you have to use the same method just replace every place where there is meat and replace it with the boiled fish or what so ever of your choice.


Method of preparation.

What you need is;
- Tomatoes ( 15)
- onions ( 5 fat)
- Chilly pepper ( 3)
- Meat ( cow meat or any of your choice). ( 2 kilos)
- Dry fish ( 5 fat)
- Green pepper ( 3 fat)
- Plantains (ripped)
- Oil ( 250 ml)

- Fresh vegetables ( Any of your choice that is not slippery). ( 10 Cameroon bundle of 250frs). I will show a picture.

- Salt ( very small)
- Maggi (very small)
- Carrots ( 5. small)
- Green Beans. ( 24. small).

You can change depending on your likes and dislikes. But that is how this pot was made.



The method.

- Wash, Slice and boil your meat in a pot having water, slightly above the meat. Add salt into it (Pinches depending on you). Boiling it continuously for 30mins and start checking at intervals of 5mins. Until it reaches your taste. 


It's better not to add water as it is boiling. Try to estimate the level of the water wells. but if it's really necessary you can add a bit.

- Slice the vegetables into very small pieces. 
- Wash it twice in different clean waters.
- Then place it in a pot and add a little bit of salt and water.

Allow it to boil for 30mins. Then you check by tasting a little. If it's half cooked and you like it, you remove it on fire. If it's not cooked enough for you, you can allow it for few more minutes.

- You remove the vegetables and wash and press them dry.

 (If you feel the water coming out of the vegetables is good for your health, you can press them little but you won't have to wash them). 

- You slice all you consume in different plates.

- Place a little bit of oil in the pot. Then you add onions, green pepper, chilly pepper, tomatoes, then the dry finish, at intervals of one or two minutes. Add salt and Maggie.

Then you allow the tomatoes to get ready for about 5 or more minutes. Make sure it shouldn't burn. If the tomatoes it's burning but not yet ready, you add a cooking spoon of the meat juice. Until the tomatoes get ready then.

- When all the spices are ready, add the meat, followed by the vegetables.

Mix everything, add two cooking spoons of the meat juice. That will prevent it from burning. Mix it super well, so that it becomes homogenous.

After 5 minutes you remove it from the fire and dish it out.

Don't be scared if you don't see the measurements. Everything is left to you. If you have 250 grams of vegetables you can use 2 to 10 tomatoes depending on you.

The only thing that you have to take into consideration is the salt and the Maggie.
