These are another set of very rare species.
It is also been sold mixed in our Cameroonian markets.
There are rare because of mean reasons.
- Their names are in dialect. So we only know their vernacular names.
- Only a few women from the West region Cameroon can identify most of these species.
- Nearly all these species are found in the West region of Cameroon.
So these Bamileke women prefer to grinding all these species before selling. It saves time and energy.
Sometimes, this second set of condiment is missed with the first set and are sold as one.
So in the market make sure you clarify your doubts from the woman selling.
Some of the names might be in French.
